Who am I?
My name is Pharah Jean-Philippe.
I am a creative, energetic, learning & development executive experienced in developing global strategically defined and formally evaluated learning events. With over 20 years of experience in business as well as with mentoring and coaching, my experience working in both field and corporate environments has given me the incredible opportunity to directly impact the growth of individuals, teams, and organizations.

As an accomplished professional development facilitator/trainer, instructional designer, performance consultant, training team and project manager who possesses a strong consultation background, I motivate and empower clients and direct reports to uncover their gifts, discover their passions, and develop incredible plans that enable them to excel. The combination of my encouraging coaching style and strategic planning provides them with the tools to move from a mediocre outlook of success to a magnificent, attainable vision of opportunities and achievement.

My non-traditional approach to job seeking encourages my clients to think outside the box (and their comfort zones) to better market their skills, attributes, and unique experiences. I work with individuals at all stages of their careers, but have a soft spot for helping young professionals, mid-career level candidates, and those seeking a transition in their career.
What's my goal for this blog?

My goal for this blog is to a perspective that's familiar to women, minorities, and people who don't fit the traditional picture of corporate success. Having faced many bumps in the road, I've used my experiences to offer actionable advice on how others can map out their own paths to success in a much smoother manner as I have learned to embrace my failures as much as my achievements and see both as sources of learning and growth. With this as a foundation, it's my aim to inspire others to set stretch goals and give them enough confidence to believe that they can achieve them.
